We are looking for the dancers that embody the spirit of Sirens; performance, flirtation and allure. We welcome up and coming competitors and new performers to our Siren’s Pole and Reveals Category. Performers should enter Temptress if they: • Have been a finalist at any state, national or international professional level competitions including: * Victorian Pole Championships * Australian Pole Championships * Miss Pole Dance Victoria / Australia * MX Pole Dance Victoria or Australia * Exotic Generation Victoria, Australia * Pole Theatre * Pole Icon * Miss Burlesque Victoria * MX Burlesque Victoria * Miss Burlesque Australia • Have performed professionally in a season production as a professional artist • Are currently teaching Intermediate level or above at any pole studio 1. Siren’s Pole: A celebration of pole choreography, flow, fluidity and audience connection. This category is all about the art of fluid movement. Floor-to-pole transitions, flow, slinky shapes, beautiful lines, and stage presence. Think liquid sensuality, creative choreography, and confidence. Aerial tricks won’t be judged on difficulty, but we love to see gorgeous spins, hair flicks and climbs, and low flow moves that draw the audience in. It’s about execution, confidence, and creating connection. Command the stage. Example: an aerial shoulder mount would not be scored, but a shoulder mount from the floor to show of your leg waves would be. 2. Reveals Where tease meets artistry & stage presence. Classic Burlesque-inspired, but open to any style that brings the slow burn of seduction to life. This is the stage for props, effects, costumes, and clever reveals—at least one item must be removed. The pole may be used, but not mandatory. The judging lies in allure, polish, atmosphere, and how deeply you pull the audience into your world. Make us hold our breath as you unzip…anything! Example: A classic strip tease, a themed burlesque performance, a clever and seductive concept that also make us chuckle, a commercial heels number that has us (and you) floored! 3. Temptress A playground for our most seasoned performers. This category belongs to instructors and those who have competed at a high level before. Want to show your own brand of temptation and style? This is for you. Expect a fusion of pole, dance, and reveal, all wrapped in stage presence, sensuality, and experience. Here, creativity and the power to entice are everything: hold our attention, tease us, leave us breathless. Example: If you are a current high level Kylie J instructor, or have extensive comp experience, this is the category for you. If you have competed in any of the below comps, please apply to this category. Performers should enter Temptress if they: • Have been a finalist at any state, national or international professional level competitions including: * Victorian Pole Championships * Australian Pole Championships * Miss Pole Dance Victoria / Australia * MX Pole Dance Victoria or Australia * Exotic Generation Victoria, Australia * Pole Theatre * Pole Icon * Miss Burlesque Victoria * MX Burlesque Victoria * Miss Burlesque Australia • Have performed professionally in a season production as a professional artist • Are currently teaching Intermediate level or above at any pole studio
