​Pole Dance Instructor Course

One of the most fulfilling things you can do is to guide people through their growth, help them discover their strength, and witness their artistry unfold.

When students step into a pole class, it’s their ‘me-time’ their moment to reconnect to their bodies and express themselves. As an instructor, you become part of that, how incredible! As an instructor you lead with presence, you nurture, you create the energy that fills the room.

The Kylie J Pole Instructor Course has been designed to help you develop the knowledge, structure, and confidence to do exactly that - to teach with skill, empathy, and authenticity.  You’ll also gain insight into the behind-the-scenes of a professional pole studio, guided by our experienced Kylie J team with over 15 years with a highly respected presence in the professional Australian pole industry.

 

What You’ll Learn
 

• How to structure and manage a class

• Pole History and industry development

• Anatomy basics, warmups and conditioning for pole

• How to communicate clearly and confidently

• How to support a range of learning styles and personalities

• Develop technical understanding and correct cueing

• Everything about classic technique and pole terminology

• How to teach the foundation skills of pole for static and spin

• How to safely spot students and prevent injuries

• Everything choreography, musicality, routine structure

• Pole Artistry for everything performance as an instructor

• Promotion, marketing and social media for instructors

 

Course Structure

In-studio learning and mentorship:
 

• 18 hours Geelong studio training 
  
  Saturday April 25 10:00 AM – 4 PM
  Sunday April 26 10:00 AM – 4 PM
  Saturday May 9  10:00 AM - 4 PM
   

• 60 minute private with Kylie

• Minimum 6 hours of shadowing at either studio

• Home study and practice 

• All studio sessions filmed for your revision

• Additional private mentoring available

Upon Completion
 

Graduates receive:

• Kylie J Pole Instructor Certificate

• Successful Spotting Certificate

• Comprehensive Instructor Manuals

• Personalised Feedback Reports 

• Eligibility for studio teaching 

 

Your Next Chapter
 

After completing the course, you’ll be skilled in teaching:

• Pole Introduction, Beginner Pole (Static & Spin), Foundation Heels.

• Be considered for permanent positions at Kylie J Pole 

• Be approved for cover positions at Kylie J Pole 

• Approved to host as a Guest Instructor

• Approach studios with confidence and certification

• Continue to develop as a leader within the pole community

 

Investment

$850 (including GST)
or 4 fortnightly payments of $212.50




This course is currently open for enrolment by invitation only. 

Expressions of interest are open to everyone. Minimum 12 months pole experience required.
